traditional Biscuit packaging

The biscuit packaging is a hybrid of traditional Chinese patterns with modern bag shape.

Traditional biscuits such as the pig's ear cookies or the worm coconut cookies are common snacks in Vietnam. They're usually packed in the transparent plastic bag retailed in the supermarket. We would like upgrade the packaging of these kinds of traditional cookies, we use Oriental cultured elements combining with the style of vintage. The Phoenix, which is one of 4 legend animals in Eastern culture, is the focal point of the visual. Lines and curvy shapes are usually used for decoration in the vintage posters that plays here as a supporting role in the composition.

The front of the package is designed as a graphic poster with full of elements usually seen in the vintage posters. The back of the package is cut out allowing consumers to look which kinds of biscuit inside the bag. The warm color palette defines the phoenix which is an animal representing power of fire. The brighter color palette is for the lighter-color biscuit - the worm coconut cookies, the darker palette is designed for the darker - color biscuit - the pig's ear cookies.
